China removes more than 100 mobile apps

The Chinese authorities have restricted access to more than 100 mobile applications that it alleges spread offensive content related to prostitution, pornography, violence, and gambling.

The announcement wasΒ madeΒ by the Cyberspace Administration of China on Tuesday. All the offending apps have violated one or more cyber-security laws, the watchdog stated without providing any further detail.
