X has gone down in what appears to be a major and global outage.
The Elon Musk owned platform, previously known as Twitter, stopped working at around 10am UK time on Monday morning.
Attempting to visit the website or load news posts through the app failed.
The issues appeared to be present right across the world.
Update: At 16:16 CET: X went out again.
Update: At 16:40 CET X restoring services, but failed .

Update: Elon Musk has revealed that π was hit by a major cyberattack, far beyond routine threats. According to Musk, this wasnβt just another day in cyberspaceβit was a well-funded, highly coordinated strike.
“Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved,”
Musk hinted, fueling speculation. Could this be part of a broader geopolitical cyberwarfare escalation? Who stands to gain from crippling a global platform?
