Washington had long been warned about the risks associated with Kiev’s NATO bid but reportedly decided to push forward

Washington and its European allies have long been fully aware that their policy of encouraging Kiev’s NATO ambitions could lead to dire consequences, WikiLeaks has said in a video report, citing a trove of diplomatic cables it had obtained.

Moscow has explicitly warned American diplomats about risks of violent strife in Ukraine and instability for the whole region linked to Kiev’s ever deeper integration into the US-led bloc years before the Ukraine conflict broke out, the sources cited by WikiLeaks suggest. Paris has also warned Washington that such a policy could lead to war, while Berlin outright opposed the idea in the 2000s, according to the documents.

The report was provided by Magnus von Wangenheim, a German medic, who had spent β€œyears dealing with WikiLeaks’ publications and the treatment of its founder Julian Assange,” according to AcTVism, a German NGO which he produces video reports for.

Paris points to dangers of war

Washington received one of the earliest warnings about the risks associated with Ukraine’s NATO ambitions from France, the documents analyzed by WikiLeaks suggest.

A 2005 diplomatic cable reporting on a meeting between then-US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Daniel Fried as well as several high-ranking French officials says Paris was worried about such a prospect.

β€œIf there remained one potential cause for war in Europe, it was Ukraine,” the document said, citing French Presidential Diplomatic Advisor Maurice Gourdault-Montagne. The diplomat warned that Moscow already believed that the US and its allies were β€œdoing too much” in Russia’s β€œcore zone of interest,” and warned that such actions could eventually lead to a forceful response on Russia’s part.

Fried admitted at that time that there was no national consensus on NATO membership within Ukraine itself, according to the same cable. He still dismissed concerns about Moscow’s possible military response and a potential violent split within Ukraine over the issue.

Iran has placed defense systems around its nuclear sites on high alert as fears grow of a potentialΒ attack by Israel with US support,Β The TelegraphΒ has learned.

According to information obtained byΒ The Telegraph, the Islamic Republic has also strengthened defenses around key nuclear and missile facilities, including deploying additional air defense system launchers.

Two high-level government sources told The Telegraph that these measures come in response to increasing concerns about joint military action from Israel and the United States. The heightened security follows warnings from US intelligence to both the Biden and Trump administrations that Israel would likely target Iranian nuclear sites this year.

“They [Iranian authorities] are just waiting for the attack and are anticipating it every night and everything has been on high alert – even in sites that no one knows about,” one source revealed to The Telegraph. “Work to fortify nuclear sites has been ongoing for years but it has intensified over the past year, particularly since Israel launched the first attack,” the source added.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is preparing to dismiss a number of vaccine advisors as he begins shaking up the Department of Health and Human Services.

Kennedy plans to remove from advisory committees a number of individuals he believes have conflicts of interest. Kennedy has been explicit in stating that the medical industry has undue influence over regulators and government policy.

β€œWe will remove conflicts of interest from the committees and research partners whenever possible or balance them with other stakeholders,” Kennedy said on Tuesday, in his first detailed remarks to HHS staff.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, which has a key role in dictating vaccine policies, is one clear target for Kennedy. On Thursday, the ACIP was postponed indefinitely.

In response, medical professionals sent a joint letter urging Kennedy to preserve the meeting. β€œEach ACIP meeting holds tremendous weight and relevance,” the letter states.

β€œInfectious diseases are constantly evolving opponents; vaccines are among the best tools for constantly adapting and responding to the latest public health threats… Making America healthy requires healthy discussion and timely, evidence-based decisions. This meeting should be no different.”

Panels that advise the Food and Drug Administration are also being targeted.

Leading experts in Belgium have issued a warning to the rest of the world after an alarming new study found that all-cause deaths are surging among nursing home residents who received Covid mRNA β€œvaccines.”

Professor Eline Meyers and her team at Ghent University are sounding the alarm after investigating spikes in all-cause mortality rates among elderly citizens.

The peer-reviewed study found that Covid mRNA β€œvaccines” destroyed the immune systems of nursing home residents, leading to soaring deaths and deadly diseases.

The researchers warn that the mRNA injections have caused a vaccine-induced immunity crisis in nursing home populations.

The results of the groundbreaking study were published in the world-renowned medical journal Vaccine.

The study followed 3008 participants, including 1640 nursing home residents (NHR) and 1368 nursing home staff (NHS), across 69 facilities in Belgium

In the study’s paper, the researchers explain that they used parametric exponential survival models with interval censoring and Cox proportional hazards analysis.

The researchers probed two key questions:

How long do antibodies persist after the primary vaccination series, and what factors predict all-cause mortality among these highly vulnerable groups?

The Ukrainian leader has dismissed President Trump’s demand for $350 billion, insisting that Kiev received $100 billion as a grant

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky has said his country will not repay the assistance it has received from the US since the start of the conflict with Russia. He also suggested that US President Donald Trump’s estimate that Kiev owes $350 billion is grossly exaggerated.

In recent weeks, the US president has ramped up his demands that Kiev reimburse Washington for all the aid provided since the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in February 2022. Trump has argued that if the country is short on cash, it should sign over the rights to its natural resources as a form of compensation. Zelensky however, has refused, apparently deeming the terms too unfavorable.

Ukraine’s leader said that he is ready to step down if it means peace for Ukraine

Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky has stated that he is willing to step down for the sake of peace in Ukraine or in exchange for NATO membership.

β€œIf peace for Ukraine is so necessary that you require me to leave my post, I am ready. I can trade that for NATO if such conditions are met immediately,” Zelensky said during a press conference streamed on his office’s YouTube channel on Sunday.

If peace for Ukraine, if you really need me to leave my post, then I’m ready. I can exchange this for NATO, if there are such conditions. I am focusing on the security of Ukraine today, not in 20 years, and I do not intend to be in power for decades,” Zelensky asserted.

Zelensky’s presidential term expired in May 2024; critics have accused the Ukrainian leader of seeking to prolong the hostility in order to cling on power. Moscow has repeatedly signaled it does not regard him as a legitimate representative of the country and that he lacks the power to sign any comprehensive peace deal. This week, Trump pointed to Zelensky’s shaky legal position as well, branding him aΒ β€œdictator without elections” and claiming that he currently has an extremely low approval rating in his country.

Thousands of Americans have reported similar stories. After the study news dropped, DailyMail.com spoke to dozens of Americans, including those in healthcare, law, and the military, who said they felt a sense of validation after years of being dismissed as crazy.

Dr Trevor Keyler, a 39-year-old biology professor from Minnesota who describes himself as ‘pro-vaccine’ and ‘pro-science’, has been forced to cut his work hours after suffering extreme tremors and fatigue following his Moderna vaccine.

For years doctors told him his symptoms were not related to the vaccine and were probably Covid itself or long Covid. The doctor, who said he used to be a ‘very healthy’ and outdoorsy person, now has more trouble staying active with his wife and their two children.

The mRNA vaccines made by Moderna and Pfizer are estimated to have saved tens of millions of lives globally from Covid, including 3 million in the US.

But experts have said the push to quell damaging anti-vax misinformation has left those with genuine post-vaccination injuries treated like outcasts.

China’s navy has reportedly conducted a second live-fire exercise in international waters, a day after a similar drill forced multiple airlines to change flight paths between Australia and New Zealand.

New Zealand navy personnel advised live rounds were fired from a Chinese warship in international waters near the island nation on Saturday.

β€œReporting from the New Zealand Defence Force that the Chinese naval Task Group has advised of a second window for live firing activity, on Saturday afternoon,” a spokesperson for the defence minister, Judith Collins, said in a statement seen by Reuters.
