Devin Harjes, best known for his roles in Boardwalk Empire and Manifest, has died. He was 41.
Harjes died after complications from cancer at Mount Sinai West Hospital in New York City on Tuesday, May 27, his representative confirmed to PEOPLE. He was diagnosed with cancer last winter.
Harjes performed in theater productions in Texas and N.Y.C., before starring as Jack Dempsey in the hit HBO period drama Boardwalk Empire in 2011. He went on to guest star Blue Bloods, Orange is the New Black, Gothamand Daredevil.
The actor also portrayed Pete Baylor in seasons 2 and 3 of Manifest.
