U.S. President Donald Trump is not interested in talking with his former ally Elon Musk, amid a bitter feud over the president’s sweeping tax-cut bill, a White House official said on Friday, adding that no phone call between the two men is planned for the day.
A separate White House official had said earlier that Trump and Musk were going to talk to each other on Friday.

Elon Musk has deleted an X post claiming that US President Donald Trumpโs name was in the sealed Jeffrey Epstein files, suggesting that this is the real reason they remain classified.
On Thursday, Musk wrote: โTime to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.โ He added: โHave a nice day, DJT! Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.โ
In another inflammatory post no longer visible in the entrepreneurโs X account, Musk responded โyesโ to a message that said โTrump should be impeachedโ and Vice President JD Vance โshould replace him.โ
