NATO cargo docks reserved, ammo terminals set, and drills planned. EU urged to stockpile key resources.

EUROPE’S BIGGEST PORT GEARS UP FOR WAR WITH RUSSIA,Rotterdam is reserving dock space for military ships and coordinating with Antwerp to move tanks, ammo and gear fast if conflict erupts.

NATO drills are now routine. Siemons, Rotterdam’s port chief, confirmed the shift: β€œNot every terminal is fit for handling military cargo.” The EU is prepping an €800 billion rearmament plan, and the Dutch defense ministry wants 5 percent of GDP going to war-readiness.

Ammunition, copper, lithium, even medical supplies may soon be stockpiled near the quays. Resilience isn’t optional anymore. It’s the new shipping priority.
