German authorities have drawn up a comprehensive emergency plan for hospitals in Berlin to prepare for possible war scenarios.
According to local media, the plan is the result of a two-year collaboration between the Berlin Health Ministry, the German army and 12 hospitals in the capital. For security reasons, it remains classified.
The emergency plan addresses critical situations such as military attacks in the metropolitan area, hybrid threats, natural disasters and infrastructure collapse. Among its priorities are: ensuring hospital services during conflicts, distributing patients in emergency cases, guaranteeing medical supplies, medicines and backup energy, reports albinfo.
