The US president has previously vowed to declassify information on high-profile historic assassinations

US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to declassify government documents related to the assassinations during the 1960s of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and civil rights campaigner Martin Luther King Jr, multiple news media outlets reported on Thursday.

Under Trump’s order, the director of national intelligence is tasked with preparing a plan within 15 days for the β€œfull and complete release” of the files related to JFK’s assassination a plan within 45 days for the releases of files on the assassinations of RFK and King.

Trump made a promise to do so at a victory rally at the Capital One Arena in Washington last weekend, speaking ahead of his inauguration on Monday.

The high-profile murders of President Kennedy in 1963, his brother and political ally Robert in 1968 and, in that same year, Martin Luther King, civil rights leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner, remain a subject of controversy and speculation in America.

A number of Donald Trump supporters and vaccine skeptics have criticized the president after he talked up multibillion-dollar artificial intelligence infrastructure project, which, it was suggested, could help develop vaccines for cancer.

Newsweek has contacted the White House for comment via email outside of regular working hours.

Trump announced a joint venture between OpenAI, Oracle, and SoftBank, which will be called Stargate, during a press conference on Tuesday. The project, which could cost up to $500 billion, was described by Trump as the “largest AI infrastructure project in history.”

The president said the project will result in “over 100,000 American jobs almost immediately.”

Stargate will start building data centers and the electricity generation needed for AI development in Texas, according to the White House.

Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison highlighted the potential medical benefits of the investment, stating that AI could be used to detect cancers and customize mRNA vaccines to treat them within 48 hours. Here we go again! Or Them Exposed…

Doing away with cheap fossil fuel deliveries from Moscow has come at a price, the EU commission chief has admitted

Energy prices across the EU have skyrocketed due to the disruption of cheap supplies from Russia, European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen has admitted.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on Tuesday, von der Leyen acknowledged that the loss of Russian supplies has exacerbated the bloc’s energy crisis. β€œFreedom came at a price. Households and businesses saw sky-high energy costs and bills for many are yet to come down.”

Before 2022, the EU was receiving 45% of its gas and 50% of its coal from Russia, while Moscow was one of the bloc’s largest oil suppliers. β€œThis energy appeared cheap, but it exposed us to blackmail,” she claimed.

Von der Leyen also asserted that Russian President Vladimir Putin β€œcut us off his gas supplies” after the conflict in Ukraine erupted in February 2022.

β€œOur gas imports from Russia went down by roughly 75%. And now we import from Russia only 3% of our oil, and no coal at all,” she stated.

The UK’s pandemic-era secretary of state has admitted that Pfizer told the government that the pharmaceutical giant’s Covid mRNA β€œvaccines” would likely kill and injure millions of people once they were approved for public use.

The shocking admission was made by former Secretary of State Alok Sharma, who served in the previous UK government.

Sharma now serves as the president of COP 26, the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference.

He is also listed as one of the β€œpeople” of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

Sharma revealed that the government knew that people would be harmed by the Covid β€œvaccines” before they received regulatory approval.

However, despite knowing the huge risk to public health, the government approved the β€œvaccines” and pushed the β€œsafe and effective” narrative with support from the obedient corporate media.

The revelation emerged during the UK’s Covid Inquiry, according to the Telegraph.

The Covid Inquiry heard that the government anticipated a Β£1.7 billion ($2.09B) bill for injuries caused by the mRNA injections.

The number of deaths as a result of the hotel fire at a Turkish ski resort has risen to 66, the Turkish Minister of the Interior has announced.

There are at least 51 injured. It concerns a hotel in the town of Kartalkaya, in the northwest of Turkey. There were reportedly a total of 237 guests in the mostly wooden building. It was busy in the hotel; it had an occupancy of 80 to 90 percent, because many students were free.

The fire started at 3:30 a.m. local time on the fourth floor of the Grand Kartal hotel in the winter sports resort. Images from overnight show much of the 11-storey hotel on fire, including the roof and upper floors. Two of the victims died after jumping from the building in panic, Governor Abdulaziz Aydin said this morning. Some guests tried to climb out of their rooms using sheets and blankets tied together.

The United States will leave the World Health Organization, PresidentΒ Donald TrumpΒ said on Monday, saying the global health agency had mishandled the COVID-19 pandemic and other international health crises.

Trump said the WHO had failed to act independently from the “inappropriate political influence of WHO member states” and required “unfairly onerous payments” from the U.S. that were disproportionate to the sums provided by other, larger countries, such as China.

World Health ripped us off, everybody rips off the United States. It’s not going to happen anymore,” Trump said at the signing of an executive order on the withdrawal, shortly after his inauguration to a second term.

The WHO did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

When asked about Trump’s decision and remarks, China’s foreign ministry told a regular press briefing on Tuesday that the role of the WHO in global health governance should only be strengthened, not weakened.
