The US president has accused the Ukrainian leader of β€œdisrespecting” Washington

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky is not ready for peace as he sees Washington’s involvement in negotiations on the Ukraine conflict as a bargaining chip, US President Donald Trump has stated, following their meeting on Friday.

Trump made the remarks in a social media post after receiving Zelensky at the White house, where the two were expected to sign an agreement granting Washington access to Ukraine’s natural resources.

Zelensky’s visit to the White House was cut short after he got into a heated exchange with Trump and US Vice President J.D. Vance. Trump accused Zelensky of β€œdisrespectful” behavior during the talks in the Oval Office.

The two ships had 29 crew members on board when calls for help were issued, the Russian Emergency Ministry has said

Two tankers carrying oil products are sinking in the Kerch Strait, the passage that connects the Black Sea to the Sea of Azov, according to the Russian Emergency Ministry.

The Volganeft 212 and the Volganeft 239 sent out distress signals and requested assistance amid high winds and powerful waves. The Russian water transport agency has said a total of 29 crew members were on board the two vessels.

Tensions are escalating in Europe with Germany now warning its civilians that they must ready themselves for possible World War Three and instructed them on what they need to do

Germans have been warned to ready themselves for possible WW3 with Russia after Vladimir Putin again threatened a nuclear strike.

Tensions were further cranked up after US President Joe Biden gave permission for Ukraine to use long range missiles for attacks in Russia and Moscow has since said they have been used to hit a weapons warehouse in the Bryansk region.

Ukrainian Intelligence reports that Russian forces are preparing to launch the RS-26 missile from Kapustin Yar (Astrakhan region), possibly targeting Kiev. Here are the missile’s capabilities: Range: Up to 6,000 km.

US President-elect Donald Trump has ruled out reappointing two senior figures from his first administration

US President-elect Donald Trump has said he will not ask former Republican presidential contender Nikki Haley or former secretary of state Mike Pompeo to join his administration.

The two prominent figures have criticized Trump in the past, but endorsed him in his 2024 election campaign.

In a social media post on Saturday, Trump wrote that he would not be inviting Haley or Pompeo β€œto join the Trump Administration which is currently in formation,” adding: β€œI very much enjoyed and appreciated working with them previously, and would like to thank them for their service to our Country.”

A suicide bomber blew himself up at a train station in restive southwestern Pakistan on Saturday, killing at least 26 people, including soldiers and railway staff, and wounding about 62 others, some critically, officials said.

The attack happened when nearly 100 passengers were waiting for a train to travel to the garrison city of Rawalpindi from Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province, according to Hamza Shafqaat, a senior government administrator.

TV footage showed the steel structure of the platform’s roof blown apart and a destroyed tea stall. Luggage was strewn everywhere. Most of the victims were taken to a state-owned hospital and some to a military one.

Update:

Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered his condolences to his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari and the country’s prime minister, Shehbaz Sharif, over the deadly blast at a rail station in Pakistan on Saturday, according to the Kremlin press service.
