The move comes after New Delhi halted a water-sharing treaty following a deadly terrorist attack

Pakistan has announced the closure of its airspace to all Indian airlines and the suspension of trade with New Delhi with immediate effect, following a National Security Committee meeting in Islamabad on Thursday.

The move comes after New Delhi downgraded diplomatic ties with Islamabad and suspended a treaty on the use of the waters of the Indus River system by the two nations.

โ€œPakistan vehemently rejects the Indian announcement to hold the Indus Waters Treaty in abeyanceโ€ฆ Any attempt to stop or divert the flow of water belonging to Pakistan as per the Indus Waters Treatyโ€ฆ will be considered as an Act of War and responded with full force,โ€Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharifโ€™s office said in the statement. The treaty contains no provision for unilateral suspension, it noted.

Pakistanโ€™s retaliatory measures include the suspension of key bilateral agreements and cross-border links, including the Wagah border post. The statement added that Pakistanโ€™s airspace would be closed immediately to all Indian-owned or Indian-operated airlines. All trade with India, including shipments to and from third countries through Pakistan, was also suspended.

Slovakiaโ€™s anti-globalist Prime Minister Robert Fico has announced a temporary halt to all government purchases of expensive COVID-19 vaccines, raising alarm over newly uncovered findings suggesting undeclared DNA and other foreign substances in mRNA vaccine doses administered in the country.

Ficoโ€™s decision follows an official report by Dr. Peter Kotlรกr, the governmentโ€™s designated pandemic policy reviewer, who concluded that certain vaccine samples contained alarmingly high levels of residual DNA compounds that manufacturers like Pfizer and Moderna failed to disclose in official documentation, the Slovak portal Aktuality reported.

Kotlรกr, a vocal critic of the international pandemic response, has not minced words, referring to COVID-19 as a โ€œfabricated operationโ€ and characterizing the vaccine rollout as โ€œbioterrorism.โ€

At a press briefing on Wednesday, Fico said it would be โ€œirresponsibleโ€ to ignore such serious findings. โ€œWeโ€™re not buying any more doses or spending another euro until we get real answers,โ€ he said, referencing a 2023 contract obligating Slovakia to purchase nearly 300,000 additional doses by 2026, at a taxpayer cost exceeding โ‚ฌ5.7 million.

Fico also suggested that the government should inform the population about the โ€œserious findingsโ€ regarding the jabs. โ€œAlthough Covid-19 vaccination rates are extremely low, people deserve such a warning,โ€ he said.

The prime minister went on to propose that Slovakia suspend the purchase of additional vaccines from the unspecified manufacturer, which it is obligated to do under a contract signed by the former government in 2023.

The presence of foreign โ€œpeacekeepersโ€ could lead to a direct confrontation with Russia, Sergey Shoigu has warned

The deployment of foreign troops to Ukraine could lead to a clash between Russia and NATO, and ultimately to World War III, Sergey Shoigu, secretary of Russiaโ€™s National Security Council, has warned. The term โ€œpeacekeepersโ€ is being used as a cover for the true objective of establishing control over Ukraine, according to the official.

The defense chiefs from a number of NATO member states โ€“ led by the UK and France โ€“ have been discussing the idea of positioning a โ€œpeacekeepingโ€ force in Ukraine. They claim the troops would contribute to a โ€œlasting peaceโ€ between Russia and Ukraine. Russia has rejected the deployment of NATO forces, or troops from members of the bloc under a โ€œcoalition of the willingโ€ to Ukraine under any pretext.

In an interview published on Thursday by TASS, Shoigu, who previously served as Russiaโ€™s defense minister, stated that the presence of foreign โ€œpeacekeepersโ€ on โ€œRussiaโ€™s historic territoriesโ€ could provoke a direct confrontation between Moscow and NATO, potentially escalating into a third world war. According to him, this risk is acknowledged by โ€œreasonable politicians in Europe.โ€
