Israeli media reports that soldiers from the Israeli army (IDF) fired shots in the direction of a diplomatic mission in Jenin, on the West Bank.
According to television channel i24, dozens of diplomats from various European and Arab countries were present. De Morgen reports that a Belgian diplomat was also present.
Footage of the incident shows dozens of people, including several photographers, fleeing to their cars near a checkpoint in Jenin after shots were fired. The Times of Israel reports that no injuries were reported. According to The Jerusalem Post, the Israeli army is investigating the case.
