Due to NATO maneuvers near the Russian borders, the risk of unintentional incidents and aggravation of the situation multiplies, the Russian Foreign Ministry told Sputnik.
βWe would like to emphasize that as a result of the allianceβs maneuvers in close proximity to our state borders, airspace and maritime space, the risk of unintended incidents and aggravation of the situation multiplies,β the ministry said.
βThe danger of such cases unwittingly escalating into an armed conflict is extremely high in the current conditions of constant escalation of tensions by NATO,β the ministry added.
