Masoud Pezeshkian and Russian President Vladimir Putin are expected to discuss issues including the Israel-Palestine conflict and Tehranโs nuclear program
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has arrived in Moscow for talks with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, scheduled to be held later on Friday.
According to a statement on Thursday from the Kremlin, the two leaders are expected to discuss recent developments in the Middle East, such as the Israel-Palestine conflict and the ouster of Syrian President Bashar Assad. The talks will also cover Iranโs nuclear program.
Putin and Pezeshkian are also expected to sign the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement, which the Kremlin described as a framework for the long-term development of bilateral relations between Russia and Iran. The document will replace a previous agreement between the two states signed in 2001.
