COVID vaccines from companies like Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca have been linked to rare occurrences of heart, brain and blood disorders, according to the largest vaccine study to date.

Researchers from the Global Vaccine Data Network analyzed 99 million people who received jabs in eight countries and monitored for increases in 13 medical conditions, Bloomberg News reported.

The study, which was published in the journal Vaccine last week, found the vaccines were linked to a slight spike in neurological, blood and heart-related medical conditions.

About 32,000 NATO soldiers, over 1,000 armored vehicles, 235 airplanes and helicopters are deployed near Russia’s and Belarus’s borders, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Tuesday.

“The situation is no calmer on the European continent, including near our borders. In the immediate vicinity of Belarus and Russia, as part of the alliance’s operations in Europe, about 32,000 soldiers of the contingents of the united armed forces of NATO and the United States are stationed. There are more than 1,000 armored vehicles, about 160 artillery systems and mortars, 235 airplanes and helicopters,” Lukashenko was quoted as saying by the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel.

Moscow claims that Washington and Kiev have violated the articles of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons

Washington and Kiev have violated articles of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) as Ukrainian forces have used illegal munitions on the battlefield, Russian Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov has claimed.

The head of Russia’s Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Protection Forces provided several examples of Kiev’s alleged use of banned chemical weapons and non-lethal chemical agents that he said were obtained from the US. 

Kirillov claimed that Ukraine used drones to drop US-made gas grenades on December 28, 2023 containing “CS” compound – a chemical classified as a riot-control tool that irritates the eyes and upper respiratory tract, and can cause skin burns, respiratory paralysis and cardiac arrest when used in high concentrations.

“C” is the chemical symbol for carbon, and “S” is the chemical symbol for sulfur. Therefore, a “CS” compound typically refers to a compound that contains both carbon and sulfur atoms. One common example of a CS compound is carbon disulfide (CS2), a volatile chemical compound that is used in various industrial processes.

The Kremlin today threatened to fire nuclear missiles on London, Washington, Berlinand Kyiv if Russia is forced to give up the Ukrainian territory it has invaded.

Dmitry Medvedev – a close Putin ally who served as president from 2008 to 2012 – said if a military defeat led to a return to the 1991 frontiers, when the Soviet Union collapsed, Moscow would unleash Armageddon.

‘Attempts to return Russia to the borders of 1991 will lead to only one thing,’ he said. ‘Towards a global war with Western countries using the entire strategic arsenal of our state. In Kyiv, Berlin, London, Washington.’

A solar emission from active zone 3576, following a previous X3.3 flare, marks a rare occurrence of repeated high-powered eruptions within a solar cycle.

A powerful solar flare of the highest magnitude class X occurred on the Sun on Friday at 12:52 pm GMT.

The Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Science reported the event on its website.

“The event is classified as X2.6, which means it is the fourth strongest event in the last five years, according to the catalogs…The likelihood of the outbreak impacting Earth is currently assessed as extremely low,” the lab’s statement read.

The jailed blogger lost consciousness after going for a walk, and resuscitation efforts failed, authorities have said

Russian opposition figure Alexey Navalny has died in jail in central Russia after falling ill during a walk, local authorities have said, adding that an investigation into the exact cause of his death was ongoing.

In a statement on Friday, the Federal Penal Service in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region said that Navalny, 47, who was serving his sentence in a correctional facility on several charges, including embezzlement, “felt ill” after a walk, losing consciousness almost immediately.

Officials said that medics and an ambulance were called without delay. “All the necessary resuscitation measures were carried out, but they did not yield positive results. Paramedics confirmed the death of the convict,” the statement added.
