Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has ordered preparations to evacuate settlements near the country’s border with Lebanon amid the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on Sunday.
On Sunday morning, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced strikes on an area of Lebanon in response to the shelling. Lebanese movement Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the shelling of three Israeli army positions.
